With the warmer months approaching us quickly it makes me excited to wake up on saturday mornings and go to markets around Sydney. I have always loved shopping at markets, not only for a lovely day out but to find little gems from local designers that you wouldn't normally come across. Yesterday I spent some time at Glebe markets and picked up a few gems while supporting small businesses and designers including an amazing bracelet from Laondrim, a Hutwoods candle, another succulent to add to my collection and this incredible crystal.
Glebe markets have a great range of stalls including candles, clothing, fine jewellery, leather goods, plants and flowers (lots of succulents!!) and of course great food and live music that is on every saturday from 9am-4pm. My favourite stalls that I find myself always going back to are Hutwoods candles and Laondrim fine jewellery. Hutwoods have a great range of scented candles with a woodwick and all natural soy wax, my favourites being Lychee and Peony and Tigerlilly Blossom. They are a must for any candle lover!! I'm obsessed with fine jewellery including rings and bracelets. Laondrim have an amazing range of fine pieces including rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings in gold, silver and rose gold. I love wearing protective symbols and have bought a few pieces from Laondrim including this stunning bracelet. (which I now have in all 3 colours) Be sure to check out their website, and instagram pages. Get the Look...
T by Alexander Wang Tee, J Brand Jeans, Topshop Bomber Jacket, Chanel Clutch, Givenchy Shoes, Dior Sunglasses As my birthday is approaching it has become tradition to buy myself a 'gift'. I've wanted a nude bag for so long and I finally made an investment and bought the classic prada saffiano tote. It's everything I wanted and more. The perfect bag that is classic and timeless....the perfect addition to any girls wardrobe.
Spring is finally upon us and the idea of spring and sunshine always gets me excited about the summer. Its always this time of year that I start looking for new swimwear and accessories for summer. After seeing Olivia Palermo at the Dior show during Paris fashion week wearing Dior shades I immediately fell in love with them, did some research and found the style. As my birthday is approaching I decided to spoil myself and bought my very first pair of Dior sunglasses.....happy days
There is something about the combination of black and white that I cant get enough of. They are two colours that make any piece of clothing classic and timeless. The 'monochrome' trend is defiantly one that has held on strong and in my opinion one of the best. I have become quite the collector of black and white clothing and as we move closer to the warmer months and begin to see the SS14-15 drops from designers its exciting to see that the classic colours are hear to stay! The edit above is one I put together based on items currently in my closet that I have on rotation and have become quite the go to wardrobe staples. Sass and Bide has a great range of structured pieces this season that can be taken from day to night giving that clean, effortless look. Needless to say my cart is full! Sass and Bide 'Airfreight' knit, Sass and Bide 'The Sand Storm' tailored pant, Givenchy Antigona Pouch, Givenchy Shark Lock Heels
